Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Course (CPDCourse)

Description
This course helps the learner to understand fully the importance of continuous professional development, how to meet the requirements of the workplace and their own responsibility in relation to CPD.

Continuous professional development enables us to continue to develop our knowledge, skills and behaviours in our role and helps us to improve our softer skills, which can even help us outside of our working life.

Within the care sector the regulatory requirements require staff to develop their CPD, as it is an essential way to keep yourself up to date with changes and following best practices.

During this course we pose the question ‘Do you need to take part in CPD?’ and investigate this. We look at the types of CPD and how to decide what to do, when, where and how.
